The Bullis community came together to witness a mesmerizing solar eclipse, creating a moment of awe and shared excitement. The experience, marked by a brief dimming of the day and a noticeable drop in temperature, was not only educational but deeply memorable, reinforcing the community's bond and curiosity about the universe.
The Upper School Social Studies Department hosted Mr. Sam Mihara, a World War II Heart Mountain camp survivor, for a poignant educational visit funded by a Parents Association grant. His firsthand account highlighted the injustices faced by Japanese Americans, emphasizing the importance of learning from history to prevent this from happening in the future.
