At Bullis, challenging academics are balanced with comprehensive programs in the arts and athletics. A caring, supportive faculty shares their passion for learning. Bullis students flourish because it is safe to explore a new subject, to excel, to stand out and even to make mistakes.

The comfortable atmosphere in the classrooms, from Lower to Middle to Upper School, facilitates lively discussions in which students feel free to speak or ask questions. Class size, fifteen on average, optimizes individual attention and means teachers grow to know their students well. Furthermore, the school offers opportunities for students and faculty to pursue new ideas. Learning continues outside the classroom on the playing fields, in the dining hall, in the library and on the playground. Students respond to the welcoming environment at Bullis, form bonds with their teachers and appreciate the commitment adults extend to them.
