Testing Information
All applicants to Bullis must submit scores from an appropriate standardized test (see below). In addition, if your child has had any educational assessment performed (e.g., the WISC, Woodcock-Johnson) within the past three years, a copy is required for the applicant’s confidential file. Please note that admission decisions are contingent on the understanding that we have received all applicable educational testing information.

Take the BAT (Bullis Admission Test) and spend the morning visiting the school.

Take the ERB (Educational Records Bureau) test. Bullis administers the test on campus but will also accept current ERB scores sent from other schools. Please note that to avoid duplicate testing, students may take the ERB only once. We will be happy to share the results of the testing with any other schools. To register for the test, please use the Shared Test Registration and Consent form.

Applicants to Grades Six through Twelve
- Take either the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) or the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Registration booklets are available through the Bullis Admission Office or online at www.ssat.org and www.erbtest.org. Registration deadline is approximately three weeks prior to each test date.
While you may take either test at any test center, please note that Bullis is an authorized test center for the SSAT on the following dates:Saturday, December 13, 2008

Saturday, February 7, 2009 - All applicants must have their scores sent directly to The Bullis School. Our SSAT school code is 1960 and our ISEE school code is 210955.
- We strongly encourage all applicants to take the test in November, December or January. Scores from a February testing may not arrive in time for our admission decision.
- Please note that if the applicant receives special accommodations for either the SSAT or the ISEE, a copy of the letter of verification sent to the testing agency must also be sent to Bullis.
