Alumni Information & News

  • Season’s Greetings!

    “He’s making a list…He’s checking it twice…”

Although these newsletters are primarily meant to inform you of happenings in the world of Bullis Alumni, this time of year is also a time when we think about “giving back” to important people and places in our lives. We hope that when you “check your list” for year-end charitable contributions, Bullis shines like a star on the top!

I speak for the entire Bullis community, when I say “thank you” to the Alumni Elves who have already checked Bullis off their holiday gift list. You are among a growing group of devoted Alumni, as the number of donors is already greater than this time last year, which is a tribute to you as Bullis Alumni!

Your fond memories of Bullis were assisted by the loyal Alumni who came before you; would you like to contribute to the dreams being created on our campus today? Think of what Bullis gave to you and consider a gift “from the heart” for your School. Just Click Here and let the spirit of giving begin with you…

May the joy of the season be yours,

    Joanne

    Director of Alumni Relations

Successful Thanksgiving Reunions
On Friday, November 28, the class of ’98 celebrated their 10th year reunion at Union Jack’s in Bethesda. On Saturday, November 29, the class of ’93 celebrated their 15th year reunion at Tommy Joe’s in Bethesda. The Alumni Office provided appetizers and giveaways and a few surprise guests showed up—special thanks to Shannon Ryan, Carl Tugberk and Lauren Shrensky who helped to organize these fun reunions. Check out the News section below or the Bullis School Alumni Group on Facebook for pictures (and to become a member of the Facebook group)!

Plans Underway for Spring Golf Outing
Carl Tugberk ’98, and Josh Posnick ’03 are the “Kings of Swing” and are busy planning an extra special event for this spring.  Contact Carl, Josh or the Alumni Office if you are interested in helping plan, sponsor or participate in this event.

Alumni Board
We are still looking to fill some board openings for those in the local area who are interested in participating in this fun and active group.  Please contact Joanne in the Alumni Office if you would like to participate.  We are busy planning for the activities listed below, plus any new ideas that our members are interested in pursuing.  This is a great opportunity to serve your school and your fellow classmates, and to be an integral part in planning for the future of this vital organization.
