Faculty Evaluation Process: Informal feedback from department chairs and administrators happens early and often at Bullis. Student feedback occurs at the end of the the first trimester and at the end of the year. The formal evaluation process for new faculty begins in April of the first year. An evaluation team consists of the new faculty member, the division principal and/or department chair and a peer teacher. Evaluation involves a self-appraisal, numerous classroom observations with written and oral follow up, student feedback and feedback from the team as a whole. An evaluation packet, along with a letter from the evaluation team leader, becomes part of the faculty member’s employment file.

What’s the Story on Salary and Benefits?
