“Celebrating our Community - A World of Experiences, Right Here at Home”

The Global Village celebration was held on Friday, April 11, 2008. We celebrated the end of winter, the beginning of spring and the array of experiences that make Bullis such an exceptional learning community. The planning committee, consisting of representatives from our Parents Association, faculty and student body, planned a festive and educational event that offered something of interest to everyone.

The celebration was an evening filled with delicious food, interesting stories, beautiful clothing and inspirational artistry from around the world, right here at home! Throughout the evening, food and craft stations representing various cultures operated, providing a small taste of the traditions represented in our community. In addition, students, families, faculty and staff showcased their artistic gifts for all to enjoy. At Bullis we believe that exposure to the many traditions and experiences that shape our identity is an important way for us to honor all students and families. This event enabled us to do just that.
