Groups & Committees
Multicultural Student Union (MSU)
The MSU is a student group created to spread cultural awareness throughout the Bullis community. Through meetings, open forums, assembly presentations and field trips, we seek to increase the level of conversation and knowledge about the various experiences represented in our school community. We also sponsor the annual, not-to-be-missed Go-Go held every spring in the gym. Group membership is open to everyone in the Upper School.
Faculty/Staff Diversity Committee
The Faculty and Staff Diversity Committee meets monthly to address the practical ways in which the Bullis community works to fulfill our school’s mandate to build and sustain an inclusive educational environment. The committee helps coordinate programs (from Assemblies to all-school events like Global Village and this year’s Earth Day activities), discusses pressing issues that arise within the school community related to how we live and work together, and occasionally offers suggestions and proposals for the administration’s consideration. Committee membership is open to all Bullis Faculty and Staff, as are all meetings.
Parents Association Diversity Committee
The Diversity Committee recognizes and celebrates the cultural diversity of the Bullis community and strives to develop an understanding and appreciation of different cultures. The Committee sponsors activities throughout the year and the committee chair sits on the board of the Parent Association.
